It's been a little while since I posted my last blog and I have been operated portable quite a lot since Spurn Point and the Elecraft KX2 is working really well under the current sunspot cycle .
I have just started activating HuMps which are hills around the UK with a Prominence of 100m where SOTA is over 150m and more information can be found here http://www.hema.org.uk/
My latest activation's where G/HTW-007 Oliver's Mount WAB TA08 in Scarborough with 8 QSO's on 80m using the Super Antenna MP1DXMax package which is my latest antenna for review from Super Antenna USA and the full review can be found in Practical Wireless Magazine out 10th August 2017 September Issue .
I also was active from Brow Top Moor G/HTW-003 WAB NZ90 with TP-0130 & WWFF/GFF-0012 North Yorkshire Moors National Park with only 13 logged .
Another activation was Cringle Moor again in GFF-0012 SOTA G/TW-002 with 110 in the log using the dipoles and the KX2
Each day operating is total different like fishing really one day you will get loads and the next time hardly anything but still enjoyable been in the country side .
Below are some images took over recent activation's and hope to be operating some SOTA and some Islands in Scotland with the call 2M0HPI/P
73 all until the next blog and hope to work everyone on the bands soon
